Reading is a real focus for the trust currently and we will be encouraging the children to read and show their understanding of a text whether this be in school or at home. It is vital that your child reads DAILY.
Attached below is some outstanding year 6 reading books for the children to engage with throughout the year. Attached also are some questions for you to use at home to help gauge your child's understand of the texts they are reading.
Unfortunately, due to the current situation reading diaries must remain in school - but please sign the post-it notes which we will provide to inform us when you have read with your child.
