St Alban's Catholic Academy

St Alban's

Catholic Academy

First Avenue, Harlow, Essex, CM20 2NP

Through God’s love we learn together, grow together and achieve together.

The Multi-Academy Trust Board and the Governing Body work with the Executive Headteacher, the Deputy Headteacher and the staff at St Alban's Catholic Academy to make sure the school provides a good quality of education for all its pupils.

Governors are not expected to make day to day decisions about how the school is run. That's the role of the headteacher and senior staff.

Governors have three main roles:

  1. to provide strategic direction for the school;
  2. to act as a critical friend to the headteacher
  3. and to ensure accountability.

Our school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of our children and expects all staff to share this commitment.
