On Thursday 17th March Year 3 went to see the amazing mosaics at the Verulamium Museum at St Albans. We had such a fantastic day looking at these beautiful ancient patterns and learning how they were made.
We also had the opportunity to attend a Market day workshop! We got to dress up as Romans and explore the items that would have been sold in the marketplace. We looked at the types of shoes Romans wore in the bath houses, how to wear a toga, which foods the Romans liked to eat and what sort of jewellery they would wear!
It was such an exciting day!
