Through God’s love we learn together, grow together and achieve together.

Tuesday 5th January

Dear parents/ carers,

Firstly, we want to wish you all a very Happy New Year!  We really hope that you had a lovely Christmas and are all safe and well.  We would just like to say thank you once again on behalf of the Year 3 team for our lovely gifts and well wishes we received.

Every day you can expect to receive an email from us with clear lessons for your child for that day.  Each lesson will have a SWAY presentation. Activities need to be completed on paper or in an exercise book if you have one. There is no expectation that you print any of the work out.

It is important that every child engages with their learning to ensure they reach the end of year goals expected of them.

Once your child has completed each task, please take a photo and email it to us on the class email.  House points will be given to children for each piece of work we receive! We will also display the children’s work that we are particularly proud of on the class webpage, so please keep your eyes peeled to see if you can spot your child’s work!

As well as the SWAY presentations below, your child will also have activities to complete on Active Learn (Abacus). If you require log in details, please email us and we will do our best to respond as soon as possible.

This Wednesday is the Feast of The Epiphany. The Church of the Assumption in Old Harlow are live screening their Mass and we are all invited to join at 10am through this link:

As we celebrate Epiphany Mrs Kendal has prepared a Gospel Assembly for you to listen to from home. Please follow this link to access it:

Mrs Black will have a Gospel Assembly each week and Mrs Black and Mrs Kendal are each day providing a story time - these are available on the Parents Secure Area of the website (access details are sent to parents by the office).

Over the next few weeks Mrs Kendal and Mrs Black have prepared a special daily story time session with you. Please log in to the secure area of the website to watch the film and listen to the next part of the story. They are really looking forward to sharing them with you.

Thank you in advance for your support and co-operation during this challenging time. We look forward to speaking to you on the phone over the next week.

In the meantime, please do not hesitate to contact us (via email) if you have any questions regarding your child’s learning.
