Dear Parents / Carers,
Thank you for all the fantastic work we saw yesterday. It’s great to see the children making such a good start to the half-term.
This week, the children are learning about:

Dividing and halving numbers and multiplication using column method

Recreating the opening of a story using powerful vocabulary and revising speech

Northern Italy and other famous Italian cities

Lent and St. Joseph

Life cycles
Our Guided Reading poem this week is ‘Snaggers Pond’ by Wes Magee. Children will also have Handwriting, PSHE, PE, Art, Music and Wellbeing activities.
We’d also like to remind parents that Abacus activities are still being set for your child each week. The activities set directly support the learning the children are doing in Maths each week so are great for reinforcing their knowledge understanding. Children receive a house point for each Abacus activity they complete.

Your child can complete their work directly into their Notebook on Teams or you can continue to take photos and upload to either their notebook on Teams or send to us via the class email.
