Stone Age Wow day

Year 3 had the most exciting day to continue their topic of Finding out from Fossils - A Stone Age Wow day! This action packed day started with a trip on the mini bus to St Lukes where the children enjoyed many Stone Age activities such as den building, cave painting and using Scratch to create their own prehistoric animations. But the fun didn't stop there! After lunch we returned back to St Albans to bake our own Stone Age oat cakes, learn about and create models of Stonehenge and finally use the quick drying clay to make our own Stone Age jewellery.

What a brilliant day we had!
