Through God’s love we learn together, grow together and achieve together.

This term we are learning about The Great Fire of London.  In this topic we will learn many things such as: how fire started and find out what it was like living in London in 1666.  We will explore how such a significant event changed our lives today.  As well as learning about History, the research we carry out will help us with our English work too.

In English we will be exploring poetry and learning how to write shape poetry.  This will link to our topic Fire Fire!  Then from undertaking our research the children will be able to write a newspaper report on the events that happened during the Great Fire of London.

In Maths, we are continuing to develop our understanding of place value of numbers to 100.  We will also learn about time and 3D shapes.
