Year 6- Jocelyn Bell Burnell

In year 6 we were looking at Jocelyn Bell Burnell, an astronomer and physicist. Jocelyn was the first person to discover radio pulsars in space which disproved the previously theory of 'Little Green Men' which believed the radio signals to come from communication of other planets.

As part of our work on astronomy Year 6 looked at constellations and built their own constellation projectors to view the constellations whenever they want.
