Through God’s love we learn together, grow together and achieve together.

Throughout the Changing States topic we will be exploring the Americas.  This will include a trip back to the time of the Maya, exploring the ancient civilisation.  We will look and when and how they lived, the influence the Maya had on our number systems, the religious aspect of the civilisation and the foods they ate.  We will also be exploring the natural disasters that the Americas face on a yearly basis looking at how and why these occur on the big continents and some of the biggest disasters in their history.

In science we will look at the different states of matter and how something can change between them.  Before finally looking at the Pop art movement and the artist Andy Warhol.

We will be reading three books this term, Theres a Boy in the Girls bathroom, Curse of the Maya and I Survived the Eruption of Mount St Helens.
