Year 3 Trip to Colchester Castle

Year 3 had a wonderful time exploring the artefacts and exhibitions around the castle. They enjoyed learning about Celtic and Roman homes and ways of life in Colchester 2,000 years ago. We also got to explore the Roman vaults under the castle and learn that this was originally a Roman temple before it was burnt down by the Celtic leader Boudicca in her rebellion against the Roman rule of Britain.
