Through God’s love we learn together, grow together and achieve together.

As part of our learning in Science, Year 3 are conducting an experiment to learn more about plants and how they grow. This experiment will focus on understanding how water is transported around a plant so in order to conduct this experiment, Year 3 placed a flower and a stick of celery (with leaves) in coloured water. Their predictions are that the water will be transported up through the plants via the stem and into the leaves. Some children explained that they would know this because the leaves would change colour as they have used coloured dye. The children will record the results of their experiment in due course.
