Thursday 4th March 2021
Dear Parents / Carers,
Thank you for all the amazing home learning that we have received this week. The children have been working very hard and we have been able to give out lots of house points.
Today, is World Book Day. Remember that today you can dress up as your favourite book character. Don’t forget to send us a picture via Teams or class email. We’d love to see them! More information about World Book Day and our celebrations can be found here.
Today there will be a live lesson celebrating World Book Day which you can take part in via the BBC on at 11.30am. It is a 30-minute Live Lesson, hosted by CBBC's Ben Shires and Bitesize Daily's Mr Smith and can also be accessed via the CBBC channel. Don’t forget to dress up today as your favourite book character and send a picture into your teacher! Today you will also receive a digital £1 book voucher which you can spend on any of the World Book Day £1 books.
Please also remember to go onto the Parent area of the school website to watch Mrs Kendal and Mrs Black reading some lovely children’s stories. It is important to keep your children reading and listening to stories during this time, so please do try to use these fantastic resources.
