Through God’s love we learn together, grow together and achieve together.

We had great fun imagining we had gone back in time to explore some stone age caves, we went on a mission to find out about the past, looking in the caves for clues. We found cave art, pictures of tools and weapons as well as a range of facts about the Stone Age Era.

Before we went into our caves, we read the Stone Age Boy, this was a story about a boy from modern times dreaming he had gone back to the stone age, he met a stone age child who set about showing him the way she lived. Was this really a dream?  This set the tone for our imaginations to flourish and off we went into our caves to investigate.

After lots of fun crawling through caves, we came together to share the information we had found inside the caves.

We designed Stone Age clothing using our Cave Art inspirations.

We engraved our design on Styrofoam.

During this topic there were many questions we aimed to answer- Here are our collection of questions we came up with.

Our Classroom door display during our topic- We each gave ourselves a Stone Age name.
